Objective:
Teachers will experience a virtual Teacher in the Workplace tour and be able to apply what they have learned to visualize opportunities for themselves in the future.
Introduction:
As educators, it is essential to have a strong understanding of the skills and knowledge that our students will need to succeed in the workforce. One way to gain this understanding is to immerse ourselves in the world of work through experiences such as workplace tours. In this professional learning activity, we will listen to a podcast featuring an actual teacher in the workplace tour.
Through this podcast episode, we will gain insights into how workplace tours can be a valuable tool for educators to enhance their understanding of the skills and knowledge required for success in the workforce.
