While finding images that can be freely used in educational materials can be easy if you know where to look, finding images that show diverse educational populations can be somewhat difficult. So when I find a resource that does just that, I have to share it!

I came across EduImages by All4Ed today.  They have a great collection of images that show diverse students, teachers, and educational settings that you can freely use in any presentations or materials that you develop.  They give you the specific credit lines, and the Creative Commons license information for each image. Check out the image and credit line within this blog to see an example of how to use these images.

The only restriction for these images is that they are listed as NC (non-commercial), so you cannot use them in commercial products.

As they state on their website, "All4Ed is a national nonprofit advocacy organization committed to expanding equitable educational opportunities for students of color, students from low-income families, and other marginalized groups." They developed their EduImages project in partnership with the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. The collection includes over 700 images of real prek-12 students and educators from the following schools: Capital City Public Charter School, Washington, DC; MC2 STEM High School, Cleveland, Ohio; Middletown High School, Middletown, Connecticut; Skyline High School, Oakland, California; Sutton Middle School, Atlanta, Georgia; UCLA Community School, Los Angeles, California; and Wesley Elementary School, Middletown, Connecticut.
